I give some good tips from time to time and I feel that I need to start reveling some better strategies for the people who read my posts who are new to this industry. I see many people talk about the first steps in an SEO campaign is keyword research. Well that is true to some extent unless the site is in the beginning stages. I first like to look at a new project starting with the site map. This goes for new sites and existing sites. A well structured site map is the foundation of a solid campaign. Take a look at your maps. Are they keyword relevant? Are they sending your visitors to the correct page. Start with that first. My next post we will do further into this.
